Notes To Parents
Costume Balance: Costume balance statements have been handed out. These statements include the tights that will be needed for the recital. A sign-up sheet for extra tights is posted at the studio. Costume balances will be due by March 7th.
Attendance: It is very important that all student's attend class regularly. We are working on recital routines and missing class means missing choreography that is taught that week. New choreography will be walked through each week, however, it will not be re-taught. Student's that miss consecutive weeks and miss out on too much choreography may need to exit the stage during parts of the routine.
Costumes: Costumes will be arriving periodically over the next two months. We will try the costumes on the student's as soon as they arrive to check for proper fitting. Costumes will not be taken home until April.
Finale & Father/Daughter Practice: March 6th will be our next finale & father/daughter practice. If you are unable to attend, please let us know. Student's are required to attend at least four out of the six practices, with no consecutive absences. Finale student's will be required to purchase a recital t-shirt.

*Costume distribution - April 11th-15th (during your child's class time)
*Ticket sales - April 17th - 10:00-2:00 (At the studio)
*Recital Pictures - April 30th, May 1st & 2nd (Times to be announced)
*May 9th - Last day of classes
*May 13th - Rehearsal (Ames City Auditorium)
*May 14th - Dress Rehearsal (Ames City Auditorium)
*May 15th - Spring Recital (7:00)
*May 16th - Spring Recital (2:00)
Make-up classes: Sunday & Monday classes will be having make-up classes for cancelled snow days on Sunday, March 14th and Monday, March 15th at regular class times.
Recital Shirts: Recital shirt forms have been passed out. If you would like to order a shirt, please return with payment by March 26th. If you do not want your child's name on the t-shirt, please let us know as soon as possible.
